I should watch that when it's on here (west coast), but I know that my room mate (whose TV it is) will change the channel the instant that anything he thinks is remotely 'liberal' or not completely conservative, he changes the channel.

He was watching Futurama, and as soon as they mentioned global warming, he changed the channel saying, "give me a break"

9. I never said he doesn't let me watch

I'm rarely in the room, and whenever he's watching tv, it's usually comedy central or ESPN.

I stood up to him a couple weeks into the quarter and shut him down. (He was talking about, "I don't get what the whole big deal about Rush doing drugs is. It's just the liberal media making a big deal out of nothing.) Yeah. I shut him down and only changes the channel now.

He's actually watching Kimmel right now (it's his favorite show) and he doesn't get the 1984 reference

8. He actually doesn't--they play that shit in the Student Union Building

It isnt' a problem really--the one time he said something political, I challenged him on it and smacked his bitch ass down. He just avoids anything political now.

The funny part, is as I write this, he is watching Kimmel--he doesn't understand the 1984 reference.
