Saddam's Son's: Keeping the Story Alive
This whole thing about the showing the pics of SH's sons is nothing but a cheap ploy to keep the story alive for another day. They are despearate. And it might backfire on them. People might be appalled that they are doing this, especially considering it seems the pics are indicative of nothing. It seems the pics are not recognizable. So there's really no point except to keep interest alive in the story and distract from the Niger scandal. It's not working. The Niger scandal is still going, and there will be more developments as investigations start. The bodies are still piling up in Iraq and that's also being reported, except now, it's being reported in the light of the fact that the death of SH's sons did nothing to stem the tide of the resistance. The whole thing smacks of desperation.

1. MORE Americans per day have died since
how the fuck do they explain that. I doubt their sons were ordering or coordinating anything except how to keep their sorry asses alive. and I still say this with a big IF this is actually them.

2. Blitzer just said,
"This is clearly a picture of, Uday..."

You're right. There is nothing "clear" about this. All of a sudden Blitzer is a dentist as well. Blitzer has been part of 'the problem' for some time now looking for that scoop he is not helping the matter this day either.

5. More of "Bring 'em On"
As Bush*'s poll numbers continue to plummet,
He tries ever more desperately to provoke another attack on the US,
while Ashcroft and Ridge ignore security in pursuit of their right-wing
social agenda.

THEY ARE *LIHOP LIHOP LIHOP* RIGHT NOW!

3. SH's boys keep 9-11 off the Front Page
... and the Phony war rationale and Black Box Voting and ENRON and so forth. That's why DU and DUers are so important. Spread the word and keep the pressure on the Bushler.

6. Dead men tell no tales
It's a convenient distraction for now. But in another day or two it will be done with, and we'll still be left with all the same unanswered questions we had before. I also think many people will be horrified at the barbarity of parading those photos all over the place. It reminds me of the barbaric practice sticking your enemies heads on a pike as a warning...truly despicable...

7. unintended (but inevitable) consequences . . .
now that we've violated the Geneva Convention by exploiting photos of Iraqi war victims, care to guess how long it will be before Arab publications start exploiting photos of dead Americans? . . . not long, imo . . .
