TODAY'S GUESTS:
Rev. Jerry Falwell, Founder and Chancellor of Liberty University
Rep. Barney Frank (D), Massachusetts

In the Crossfire…Who can say "I do"? The Massachusetts Supreme Court hands down a landmark ruling today saying the state can't deny gays and lesbians the right to marry. But the state's Republican governor wants to amend the state constitution to define marriage as between a man and a woman. A recent CNN/USA Today/Gallup poll shows that two-thirds of Americans oppose recognizing same-sex marriages, and the issue may be pivotal in the 2004 presidential campaign.

Should states recognize gay marriages?
Will other states follow Massachusetts' lead?
Is there a cultural shift underway?
Is this a big win for gay rights activists?
Will gay-rights be a defining issue in 2004?

One of the biggest supporters of gay rights in Congress will face off with the Reverend Jerry Falwell.

Plus, our hosts will weigh in on whether Al Gore's future is literally going down the toilet.

Join Robert Novak and Paul Begala for Crossfire, 4:30 p.m. Eastern, 1:30 p.m. Pacific - live from the George Washington University. Teamed up with Judy Woodruff’s Inside Politics, we promise to give you the best hour of politics anywhere.

6. Funny introduction by Begala!
Barney Frank, Senator from Mass., the first Senator to announce that he is gay. Jerry Falwell, founder of Liberty University, he's "straight." Hahaha! Begala is great.
