2. No and if I did I know it'd be Bullshit
because it's never worked because they've always went back to being gay or lesbian.

3. isn't "ex-gay" like "ex-alcoholic
meaning, they haven't had the jam with a member of the same sex in a while - but they still think about it all the time?

5. Do I have anything against Ex-Gays?
Edited on Tue Nov-18-03 04:18 PM by La_Serpiente
No. I just get ticked when they tell me my lifestyle is wrong. They should know better. There is a lot of discrimnation gays and lesbians face. They shouldn't be encouraging it.

But honestly, I haven't met any ex-gays in my life nor have I known any.

7. ticked for you...
I'm not gay but have always been offended by the idea that gays can be "converted". Hell, I get pissed when people use the word "gay" to mean stupid or useless. A guy I work with does it all the time and I just want to pound him in to the dirt for it. I've told him many times that it is just passive-agressive gay bashing and that he should cut it out. Alas, he still does it all the time.

11. I don't agree.
I dont think its always a religious/political/moral move. How to bi-sexuals fit into this mold?

13. I agree that it is not a
religious/political/moral move.

It's biological for gays and bi's.

sorry. couldn't resist.

point is, brainwashing people against their nature doesn't count.... or work.

17. Several of my college buddies who were gay then, got married
later to women. Usually to high school sweethearts, etc. I asked them why, and they would shrug, "Well, it's what we are SUPPOSED to do, isn't it?" Then they grinned and said, "But I still get guys on the side..."

What-the-fuck-ever!!! At the very least, it's unfair to the women they married!! And dangerous, as well, medically speaking, although this was waaay back in the early 70s, before AIDS.

But legitimate 'ex-gays'??? No, this is somewhat different.
