Let's see; let's tally up.

Bush has the presidency.

Bush has the Congress.

Bush has the United States Supreme Court.

Bush has the military.

Bush has the Big Corporations.

What do we have?

Well, we have spirit.

We have dogged energy.

We have hope.

We also have a few good Democratic candidates for the nomination - if we don't kill them off, one by one, with Karl Rove-like tactics against our own.

I think we also have Good on our side. Yes, I know everyone thinks that, but I don't really believe that deep in what-passes-for-their-souls, these fascists now in charge of our government truly think they are Good. I think they think they are so powerful, they don't HAVE to be Good.

We have one chance to get these guys out in Nov. 2004, and we had better not waste it in some fruitless pursuit of The Perfect Candidate. The last Perfect Being died 2,000 years ago. NO Perfect people are currently running for office anywhere. We have excellent candidates - and THAT is good enough for me.

and as they were saying on resistance radio today, they have hate, we have love.

we got the votes, but Bush got the voting machines.

sounds bad, don't it? but, in the final analysis, we have one big thing they don't. we got the truth on our side.

we have great candidates. we don't need to be ripping on them. We need to support them. I, for one, will support any Democratic nominee for president. The final goal is to get rid of that good-for-nothing-son-of-a-bitch Bush.
