The Tide's A Turnin'

Posts from another board where I was one of very few dems when the war started in March. The board is now overwhelmingly anti*.

You cried when you claimed clinton lied (i am sorry but if i hooked up with a woman and she did what she did to clinton and the next morning my friends asked me if i had SEX with her i would say no also.)

He is bad news, i have friends and family in the military who hate him. Military people are now speaking out against the war. I have conservative friends that did not vote for him. He is only about the "New World Order" that his dad spoke of. The people on his cabinet have been planning this for years. All his lies were given in offense not defense.

I was down with the invasion of Afghanistan (i believe the treatment of women and the suppression of art was intolerable) , I believe that Saddam needed to be removed, but the way bush did it with his john wayne, bad cowboy stance is inexcusable.

Does no one pays attention to the patriot act. You can be held for an infinite amount of time with out being charged. Our phones are now tapped (no this is not conspiracy theory, a police officer told me about it.)

Then the mainstream media does its own censoring. Artists are condemned for speaking out against the president. If this had always been the way, where would musicians like bruce springsteen, john mellencamp, rage against the machine, metallica, the beatles be popular?

2. I've seen the same trend on other forums

Conservative regulars who have been hard-core Chimpy supporters now disavaw any allegiance to him. For example, anyone who follows the forum at capitalgrilling.com must be stunned at the "180" that "tlbshow" has made in recent weeks.

It's funny how these characters, to save face, say the reason they turned on Chimp is he's "too liberal" or, better yet, a socialist!

I guess that way they can claim their conservative ideology is and always has been correct, but that it's Chimpy who failed to stick with the program.

Whatever, I'm just tickled pink to see them flee like rats from a drowning ship.

3. This Country is infested with PUB Ticks and Fleas.

Get the pest control guys quick. they over there in the WH and it needs cleansing.
