Bush going to have lunch with Blair at a Pub...
Will he surprise Laura and his handlers by ordering a beer? Considering that he is a recovering alcoholic, how smart is it to have a lunch in a "pub"? Will he be able to overcome the temptation?
Reportedly, he will have an ice tea. Will Blair order a big, frosty mug of beer with the beads bubbling to a head? It would be interesting to study Bush's body language if Blair get a beer, I would think? :)

1. I'd Love To Be There
Sedgefield is a small village of 3,000 people...plus Dimbo, Blair, 250 Secret Service and 1400 UK police.

I wonder if a tabloid reporter got a bartending job there?

2. Yeah, that will be interesting...
Bush might order a non-alcoholic beer. I can just picture Bush looking with longing at Blair's frosty mug of beer (Guiness?)

Just a question, though. WE know that Bush is a recovering alcoholic.

But has Bush himself used the word "alcoholic" to describe himself? And wouldn't his non-acknowledgement of the word "alcoholic" be a form of denial?

6. I realize that some might disagree, but
I don't view Bush as a recovering anything. He is probably a dry drunk at best, and a total liar at worst. I'd bet that not a day goes by that he doesn't have nostalgic flashbacks to the 'good old days'. I hope that Blair does order a big frosty one and drinks it right in front of *, just to watch him drool.

8. Well, the beer ain't exactly gonna be cold over there, is it?
And a pint a Guinness would probably kick bu$h's ass right out the door. He'd be drinking Black Bushmills neat within five minutes!

9. By the way, Bush is scheduled for Colorado Springs after Thanksgiving
After he pardons the turkey, he is coming to Fort Carson on his way to Crawford. As of today, there have been 27 GI's from Fort Carson killed in Iraq.

13. Good Friggin' Luck on...
Getting a Long Island Iced Tea in a village pub in Great Britain. Ask for one of those, and the guv'nor will give you a headbutt and throw you out the door for being an incorrigable septic. ;-)

Jeez, don't even ask for wine. Or ice. Just beer.

If he is gonna lock the doors and get pie-eyed, I recommend a Bitter Top. The first one will go down easy and after that, no probs.

Oh my, George snot slingin' commode huggin', elbow scrapin' drunk in a British Pub on a Friday or Saturday Night. The fun the locals would have, winding him up...:D

Even Tony Blair orders a soft drink....but Dubya orders a beer, a non-alcoholic beer, but still a beer. He's still got a problem maybe?
