If bu$h&co turn Iraq over to the UN and
bring the troops home, what's to say they will not use the troops here in the US against the populous when they set aside the next election?

1. For starters
The UN is both unwilling and unable to take over Iraq. While the institution has some services they may offer a new governing body, a different solution would have to be worked out. Iraq needs to be administered by Iraqis.

The only way bushco leaves Iraq is to give up the oil. Rove looking at the election and poll numbers may decide to do that, but currently their game plan seems to be branding anyone who opposes them as "unpatriotic." Same ol', same ol'.

As for the military, that is the most dangerous development on the American landscape, the morphing of the military into an arm of the GOP.

2. You may have a good argument for keeping troops in Iraq....
to keep them from attacking us here at home. :scared:
