ATTENTION ALL CALIFORNIA DUers
The time has come for action my brothers and sisters. Complacency by the party will not keep us from our appointed task of showing the blind-ass media here WHO is behind this COUP ATTEMPT.

Please PM me so we can start organizing grass roots DU kick their fucking asses style.

Mike

10. One important item
Get voter registrations at the post office ..just take a handful of them and keep them with you. I dn't know if the election is limited but cut-off is usually 4 weeks prior to election.

Stop by the post office in the AM, heva them handy.

Also,
make a flyer with some talking points to hand out.

There was one going in old DU but I'll have to go fish for it which is difficult since search was turned off in OLD DU.

14. 15-day reg limit.
Fifteen days limit by election officials... but better to allow for a "buffer." More importantly, let's make sure our more apathetic friends vote!

13. Info on "pro-recall" rally in Sac.
http://recallgraydavis.com/NewsFolder/RecallRally.htm

I will try to organize a counter-presence. This is important. Crook Bill Simon will make his announcement there most likely.

This is another attempt by the Repukes to stage a coup.

Darryl Issa couldn't win a damn primary but now he has a shot of buying the Governor's seat.

We need to wake up the rest of the state and make everyone aware of what a scumbucket this creep is.

18. A friendly suggestion from your neighbor to the north

This should be your incessant talking point: "The Republicans are sore losers. They couldn't win the election fair and square, so they're employing a technique that is supposed to be used only in the case of criminal conduct or gross incompetence. But they're really just sore losers."

Spread this meme wherever you go: "The Republicans are sore losers."

20. Sounds great
We need to try and hook up with local Democratic organizations to do the voter drives

I sorta have a contact with the San Francisco Democratic Central Committee that I can check with to see what's going on in the city.

We need to see where everyone is and try and go from there.

Our local Democratic club has been doing this already. There are links to local clubs at the Democrats.com site. You could contact them as well to get them coordinated with your effort.
