Edwards voted No on the Medicare bill -- did not abstain.
Kerry and Liebermann were the only two abstentions.

1. You can hear him talk about it on Diane Rehm's show:

John Edwards

North Carolina Senator and Democratic Presidential candidate John Edwards discusses why he's running for president.

John Edwards, US Senator (D-NC) and Democratic presidential candidate. Author of "Four Trials" (Simon & Schuster)

It opens with an interview with USA Today reporter, Susan Paige, and she plays up Dean, and plays down Edwards She says Dean won the debate, and does everything right. She's consistently wrong in her opinions, so I'm not surprised.

4. Name one vote on which Edwards abstained, for which it would
Edited on Wed Nov-26-03 10:56 AM by AP
have been more important for Edwards to vote than to be out on the road telling Americans why he's going to be a great President.

And this is rich for the supporter of a candidate who was the subject of a thread yesterday about how he abstained from governing his state for most of 2002 because he was busy running for president.

7. Edwards is MY representative
He was HIRED to vote in the senate. And he missed tons of votes, as have the other candidates. When he skips votes that are important to me, it's like he doesn't care. Even if his vote is symbolic, it is his JOB to vote. I didn't hire the man to run for president.

What you think is funny is bizarre to me. I didn't hire Dean at all. You seldom wait for the response before you ridicule. That's kind of shitty. Oh no, now you'll alert me twice.

8. That's not true
it is his JOB to vote

If you read the Constitution, you'll see that there is no requirement that Senators vote.

I didn't hire the man to run for president

Corrrection: You didn't hire him at all. Senators are "elected", not "hired"
