Poll question: Canadian DUers..out of these four candidates who do you like?
Edited on Tue Dec-02-03 03:23 AM by HEyHEY
Just wondering for sake of wondering...it seems these are the four most talked about on DU. SO I was wondering what you think.
on edit: Please nobody pollute this poll, I want the canucks to have a way to register without fear of retribution.

1. I'm for Kucinich myself HeyHey, although I'd be happy with Dean or Clark
(in the poll I accidentally voted for Dean. My bad. - Still he's my second choice, so that's ok)

2. I'd support Kucinich
because he's closest to my positions on the issues that most matter to me. That earns my support before any other consideration.

I like Dean a lot, and of the frontrunners he's my favourite. And I'd be happy with Kerry. Clark, I have qualms about.

3. I've wondered myself who our neighbors to the north would prefer.
This should be interesting, assuming that no one pollutes the poll. :)

4. You should do a rollcall vote
The surest way to prevent non-canucks from polluting the poll would be to do a rollcall vote. Have posters name the candidates as a response to the thread.

6. I think Kucinich would make a fine politician here...
but there is no way he'd make it in the States. That said any of those guys would be fine.

7. ditto, pretty much

I mean, as far as Kucinich. As far as all the rest of them, I wouldn't likely vote for one if s/he were running up here (well, maybe 2 of them not listed here, and you can guess which ones). Hell, they don't even have the sense to commit to universal public single-payer health care, the single most economically intelligent and vote-getting thing they could do. Right, Tommy? ;)

Of course, if they were running up here, maybe they'd find it pragmatic to actually be progressive ...

9. You forgot "none of the above"
I guess if I had to choose the least objectionable, it would be Dean.

Democrat or Republican?
Different puppets, same show.

10. I voted for Dean, though my heart is with Kucinich
Sadly, in today's "image over substance" politics, Mr. Kucinich hasn't a chance in hell. Too short, not goog looking enough, too left etc.

Dean is electable. And he's got the guts to go head to head with Bush and not pull any punches.
