Somebody look at the turkey video again...

It just occurred to me that Bush handled what would probably be a 20 pound tray of turkey without any struggle. From what I remember, he barely flinched didn't seem concerned with it at all. Ever pick up a tray with a whole turkey plus a couple pounds of garnish?

for the photo ops for which he held up the tray and put it down. He didn't even eat with the men that I saw. And you are suggesting it was a plastic make-believe turkey?

and since the White House provides props for things like this, they brought one with on AF1...no wait, it was a SECRET, shhh...so that story won't work...
Had to be a prop though, I did 2 - 20 pounders this year and those suckers are heavy...and slippery!!

5. Well if it wasn't plastic, it was at least fastened to that platter, no

way could he have tilted the platter for a good photo-op with a real bird on it, it would have slid right off. Had to be a prop.

6. yes...

...this was discussed in another thread.

The turkey's a good thirty pounds with stuffing. The tray and other food has to be another eight pounds.

I lifted a 20 pound turkey last night. I could NOT have held it in front of me on a tray in the casual manner Bush held his.

I think that turkey must have been paper mache. A prop.

Way back in 2004, the Special Prosecutor reported that his investigators found that the stuffing entered the turkey through the anus, not the neck as many eye-witnesses claimed at the time.

however, our "special" investigation has just learned that the turkey was actually stuffed from both ends and (this is crucial) it was stuffed with light-weight pretzels.

One thing is certain: if the turkey wasn't full of IT, you can damn well be sure the pResident was.
