Bob Dole (R-Viagra) penned an e-mail to Howard Kurtz about Howard Dean
I got an e-mail from Bob Dole's office in which the former senator says: "I thank God F.D.R. was my commander in chief in WWII. Had it been Howard Dean we would have not participated. This would have saved lives and none of us would have been wounded. Just one little problem: we would have lost our liberty and freedom."

8. for those who labor under the false impression that Dole has any integrity
read the sections on what he did to undermine Lawrence Walsh during Iran/Contra.

or, better yet, see if you can get a copy of 'Senator for Sale,' written by his former Chief AA, I think. the author definitely worked in his senate office, and delineates just HOW crooked was/is that jerk.

this latest orgasm from Sen. Limpwad is nothing more than a reminder of how completely craven he is and always was.

2. Bob Dole knows how to use e-mail?
The only problem is that FDR didn't have foreign policy experience when he entered office, and the other problem is that FDR's a Democrat.

4. Oh really?
Is that the same Bob Dole who used to refer to WWII as "that Democratic war" we were in? And since when has he become complimentary of FDR? That is just a crock!

6. wrong
Iraq was known not to be an imminent threat. Japan and Germany were imminent threats since they had access to submerines and other warfare equipment.

and deaths from shootings.

Which poses no threat to us is exactly the same as WWII

Take some meds, Dole.

13. revisionist crap

the vast majority of Americans were perfectly happy to sit on their hands while the British and, ironically, the Soviets held the pass for the free world against Fascism.

It took a direct attack against us to get us off our ass, so I dont' want to hear any more of this "crusade for freedom" nonsense.

We did a good job in WW2, and nothing against those brave men who fought it, but let's look at history realistically.

14. Another distortion of Dean's position on war.
Dean never said he was opposed to ALL war. I'm sure his actions after an invasion of Pearl Harbor would have been much the same as FDR.

But there's the difference. Japan attacked the United States. Saddam Hussein did not. Nor was there any realistic possibility of him ever doing so.

I think all that Viagra has damaged Bob's brain.

That's why they wait until we're attacked and then go after the wrong guy and call it a victory.

17. Bob Dole is an idiot. This man kicked his wife and daughter out of his
house and moved in with his shack up, the one before
Libby. He has no soul. And, I am still bleaching the
image of him jerking off to Brittney Spears in that
coke commercial.

EWWWW!

That bitter old prune hated FDR (remember the "Democrat wars" comment?) and will be lucky if President-elect Dean invites him to the inauguration.

22. "I thank God" the 'Democrat wars' actually protected liberty,
unlike Shrub's debacle in Mess O' Potamia.

aWol's war is having a worse ending than even his daddy's.
