OK, I must say I'm quite excited for this. He does so great in this format, because he can really think on his feet. I think his intelligence and compassion shine through.

I have loaned my tape of one of his other T.H. Meetings to many people, and they've ALL converted to Clark.

my watching ED....I hate to miss ED, although I've been taping a lot of Clark stuff. When I start taping, that means I'm pretty committed....
I wound up with about 20 tapes of Clinton-Gore in '92....speeches, appearances on TV, campaign news coverage, debates, etc. Maybe it's an omen, I'm taping again!!

I'm going through a lot of tapes, too but, as I said, that other THMeeting tape I have has earned several votes for Clark, so it's WORTH IT! The thing I wish I had on tape was that awesome faux interview! I've been able to listen to it online, but can't seem to get the video to work for me - and I just LOVE to watch Clark when he's kicking ass!

I watched Leiberman's today. What a joke. He really needs to just say he is republican!

At least that's what my girlfriend found on TV Guide On-line. She also went to a NH Clark Web Site which says it is from 7:30 to 9:30. Be advised. I have avoided posting anything all afternoon because I am three hours late getting off on a road trip (groan). I'll be driving late, but she'll tape it for me.

There has to be some basic questions or standards before you use the awful force of the military. He didn't rule out force in other missions, he told you how he would make the decision.

I'm somewhat new to DU, but have noticed some of your "Go Sooners" posts. I also went to OU(graduated 1970) and my son is a senior there now. My daughter(sr. in HS) is thinking of either OU or OSU(heaven forbid). Perhaps we will have the opportunity to see each other at a Clark rally.

My daughter was there in 1990-93 but graduated from TU...the youngest daughter hopes to go to OU, but we can't afford it just yet, so she is starting at Tulsa Community College.

I was born and raised in Norman.... Hope to see you at the inauguration!!

We just need to get an electable candidate nominated....and I think it would be Clark. My wife and I went to a Clark rally in OKC this past saturday and we both came away very impressed. Extemely sharp person.

My wife also graduated from OU in 1971. Those were very interesting times...late sixties and early seventies. Without question, it shaped my political views.

I had the opportunity to see him at a rally in OKC and he was extremely impressive. If the dems can nominate Clark, I honestly think he would be able to beat bush. In a debate, bush wouldn't have a chance....

I've been behind his campaign since I saw him on Bill Maher's HBO show. He seems to have it all. His foreign policy answers are flawless and he does a terrific job on the domestic and economic issues plus he seems to have that extra something, charisma. He just comes off as a cool guy, someone you could hang out and have a beer with. I really hope he gets the nomination.

Also, his appeal to red state voters goes beyond his military credentails. He comes across so well, so disarming and humble, yet damn smart. Kerry will be finished after 2/3/04, after the SC primary.

BTW, this evening the ad that begins with: the first bullet hit him ... starting airing smack dab in the middle of the local news. Excellent ad, dynamite timing. WOOHOO!

Hey I caught a couple of minutes and he was choppy and monotone--no dynamics. If he was impressive I would honestly tell you.

Occasionally you do display a sense of humor, I'll give you that. But Clark was anything but choppy and monotone, at least the crowd seemed to think he did great.

You wouldn't even vote for him in the GE. I guess you just couln't leave the lovefest alone. And by the way, he was so terrible that he got a standing ovation in the end.

those who raise genuine questions about Clark, of which I do believe there are some (people who have a different philosophy about the kind and level of political experience a presidential candidate should have, people who are truly new to all of the ideas floating around about Clark, etc.). I don't even have any real problems with people who make light jabs ("hey my candidate is doing better than yours in this poll", etc.) at my favorite candidate out of love for their own candidate.

Perhaps you mistakenly read my post as an attack on all of those who are perceived as "farther left". I certainly did not intend that at all, and I sincerely apologize if anyone thought I was doing so. I share some of the same concerns with people who are sometimes dismissed as the "far left", and I'm very thankful of the fact that the broad range of people supporting Clark includes those who would be labeled as such.

But there are a very noisy few out there who continually insult anyone who supports Clark with smears based on statments or events taken out of context and guilt-by-association and condescending generalizations ("you just need a macho father-figure...", etc.), while displaying no apparent desire to actually discuss anything. Rebuttals have been given over and over again, and yet these few who have repeatedly brought out the same smears continually assert that no one has "addressed their concerns". Many times they simply drop by on Clark threads just to type phrases like "corporate whore", "pnac plant", "republican mole", "big warhawk", "murderous war criminal", etc. Why would I compare these particular people with someone who has an attitude as odious as johnny the freeper disruptor? As I said, it is rather obvious that their level of hatred for Clark is stunningly similar, even if it is based on a completely different ideological foundation. Like johnny, their message seems to be "If you are not absolutely 100% with us in every action, every statement, every association, regardless of context or your overall message and actions, then you are 100% against us, and as great a political enemy as those who are obviously working against nearly all of our general principles." Some of the things I love about the left is a general respect for nuance, for respecting the complexity of the issues, for tolerance of those who share most of the same ideals, but have a few political differences. And I am terribly dismayed when I see the opposite coming from any Democrat or liberal, whether it's DLC-types like Al From or people like Matt Taibbi who wrote that awful diatribe in The Nation.

I think is what we all need to remember is that people post to this board anonymously, and we can't always be sure where a poster is really coming from. Some are very obvious like johnny the freeper disruptor. Others may not be so obvious. It does no good to try and spot them either, as it can be impossible to separate the people who really care from the frauds. I have been here over two years, and I can't do it. The Mods seem very good at it though. We have the best mods on any site I have ever visited. And they have been consistently correct. I am crappy at it so I don't even try anymore.

But you don't need to apologize. Especially to me. Just take everything with a grain of salt and don't forget one thing. No matter who our candidate is next year, we will win. Take care and see you later.

I was very moved by both, too.

Living here in Colorado and knowing the Great Plaines, I've heard about this idea and am intrigued by it. So many small towns are literally dying. So many young people growing up and moving on. It would be wonderful to see the beginnings of a renewal of the plaines as they once were with native grasses and critters having a place. It would be an international treasure.
