I have never seen Dems so fired up as now.

I'm pushing 65, voted every time I could except last year (in the emergency room all day) and have never seen so much activity. Maybe DU biases me to think this, but in talking with others, things are happening all over. Friends who never talk politics are fired up about kicking Bush out.

Lets not trash each other's favorite primary candidates. Please. We can win. Stick together.

I smell the same excitement in the air about the upcoming election.

My brother, whom I think has been apathetic about government (the classic "how does it affect me" syndrome) and probably hasn't even voted, is fired up about getting Bush out of office. He just finished "Lies and the Lying Liars" and is about to start several other like-messaged books...

The same energy that was cultivated to oust Gray Davis (anti-institution) will ironically contribute to Bush's * ouster.
