Fox News is on a Full Out Assault on the Democratic Party
Basically calling Bush a success in the Economy and Iraq. They called Wesley Clark basically a guy without a clue on Iraq. They made some stupid jokes about Clark. They have some repuke congressmen on right now saying the Democratic Party has lost it.

20. The Conservative News Network
Was at the forefront of attacking Clionton for getting a blowjob.

None of the Conservative media went after Newt, Hyde, or Barr for cheating on their wives.

The biggest lie the right ever passed off as truth, and kept repeating over and over until it became the BIG LIE, is that there is a liberal media bias. Nothing could be further from the truth. We have nothing but a Right Wing media in this nation, now foursquare supporting the government.

Saddam's media was more fair and balanced.

39. C'mon now, Walt, Saddam didn't have the advertising and marketing
skills that the Busheviks have that makes them truly and frighteningly Orwellian.

Iraqi, Soviet and Nazi medias were too hamfisted in their presentation.

Orwell foresaw in "1984" that such techniques would have to evolve. The Busheviks and the mighty organizations that make up Goebbels v2.0 have done so in many of the avenues Orwell had predicted.

So I would say that, for the moment, the Party-Loyal Right-Wing Sub-Media and the Corporate TV Pravda who dances to it's tune are NOT YET as bad as Saddam's, Hitler's, Stalin's, and Marcos' media.

The truth still squeaks out occasionally here. Admittedly it is ususally not covered other than cursorily and is often drowned out by the blasts of Goebbels v2.0, but that is still more than the aforementioned media of Totalitarians Past.

For the moment...but by 2020 all bets are off.

3. FAUX said Clark was thru a few days into his campaign.
With everything that FAUX and the major media have done to hold Clark down, they continue to see him rise more and more. Clark is their worst fear. When the time comes for Clark to take on Bush , let see what the rest of American has to say.

It will be a joy to see Bushy boy trying to stand next to Clark.

BTW, If you think what they are saying now is bad, give it about 3 more months.

34. Faux is Sweating Clark So Badly
It's so blatant it's hilarious. They way they keep propping up Dean and his "insurmountable" lead, all the while trotting out these ex-generals on the wingnut payroll to offer disparaging things to say about Clark...when none of the (Schwarzkopff, Franks) even served with the guy.

And his campaign that's "dead in the water" yet keeps rising. Faux is terrified and I love it. Screw you Faux.

so The Memo went out.

And, they're running a little scared.

Think of the problems Fox would have slanting the news with an honest White House press office. A press office that didn't use them for propaganda, but jumped on every one of their lies.

(Just where did all those ex- TASS and Pravda people end up?)

17. If a Dem was in the White House
during 911 and the aftermath of 911, you know darn well that FOX would have a headline across the bottom of the screen saying "Bin Laden not caught, DAY 100," and everyday they would add a day to that headline making the Dem President look like an idiot for not being able to catch Bin Laden. Instead they don't have that news headline and have an American flag running across the top left hand corner of the screen. I am sure that flag will come down if Diebold and the Supreme Court allow for a Dem to be president in the future.

21. They aren't all pro-Bu$h policies over there
according to David Corn's latest article:

"Fox News Channel is considered by many to be pro-Bush, pro-war, and pro-occupation. Yet one of the harsher critics in the media of the Bush administration's postwar actions has been retired Major Bob Bevelacqua, a Fox News military analyst. "Major Bob," as he is called on air, served thirteen years in the Army Special Forces, which included a nation-building stint in Haiti. He also put in three years at the Pentagon. Fox enlisted him as a commentator eight days after 9/11. When not deconstructing developments in Iraq for Fox viewers, he works with William Cowan, another former military officer who is a Fox analyst, in a company trying to provide security assistance to the U.S. occupation authority and private enterprises in Iraq. Bevelacqua, who supported going to war on the grounds that Saddam Hussein was a brutal tyrant and a threat to stability in the region but not a direct threat to the United States, is clearly unhappy with the whole contracting process under way in Iraq--which certainly colors his opinions, as does his time in the Special Forces. After hearing him challenge the administration's handling of the occupation on the air and in the corridors of the Fox News Washington bureau--I, too, am a Fox News contributor--I asked Bevelacqua to spell out his objections and talk about what he saw in Iraq during a recent month-long visit there."

46. They are falling in line. Not just Fox; others have their marching orders
This will be a reinforced message, probably led by Fox News. The message will be the same, it will be consistent: Dems are traitors, Bush is Our Glorious Leader. Oh, there will be some nuances, and they are watching Rush very carefully to see if he breaks down (they relied on him; they may ditch him soon). This is coordinated. This will be consistent, across the board. The mainstream media - motivated by money - will fall in line, unless this shows signs of weakening by, say, April. Until then, one message, one fuehrer.

Fox wont convince anyone to go republican.. Either you are liberal and you know what fox stands for or you are conservatie and knows what fox stands for.. I mean I doubt there's even a reublican left that honestly think fox isn't biased..

just chill hehe..

Simpsons had the best ever fox parody when Krusty was gonna get elected.. it basicly went like this (Krusty was the republican)

Journalist: So What are your ideas for the city governor Krusty?
Dem candidate: Excuse me but the election isn't for aonther 4 weeks, he isn't governor!
Journalist: right "Comrade" eh?

Then they showed the dem candidate in some photoset it was hillarious.. and in the scrolling text beneath they had stuff like "do democrats cause cancer? up next on fox"

51. I don't know 'cause
The repubs I talk to whether I know them at work, just old friends, relatives, or just some regular poster at www.aceshardware.com where I keep up on computer tech,

they all claim Faux is as advertised "Fair and Balanced" and its CNN and MSNBC, and ABC, etc that are obviously biased to the left. (BELIEVE IT OR NOT)

The moral of the story is that perception is in the eye of the beholder. And maybe also that most people do NOT pay that much attention. the sheeple syndrome.

I don't know what the answer to the problem is the Fairness Doctrine or just getting more Dems active and speaking out, probably both.
