My quick positive thread on Kucinich
I just got to see DK again on the Florida Dems convention. I really like him. He knows the issues. He cares. He is quite friendly. He seems to be pretty smart. I don't agree with him on every issue, but that's OK. I don't agree with anyone on every issue. I hope he has a role in the administration when we win in 2004. Maybe he can head Clark's Dept. of Foreign relations. It is close to DK's idea of Dept. of Peace. Bravo Dennis Kucinich

15. Wish he was my congressman.
I don't even want to sully my mouth with the name of my congress"person." DK is just the best.

2. Any idea if Kucinich...
...might consider running for Voinovich's senate seat, if he doesn't win the Democratic nomination? When would it be too late to throw his hat in?

3. He is the man for the job.
His message is positive, Ioved his comments about winning the Republican vote. He comes at this office from the right place, his heart, intellegence and integrity. I am glad to know you like him, it seems that he is growing on people. My husband has been all over the charts with who he wants and he keeps saying that DK is not electable so he needed to find someone else. After hearing this last meeting with Dean he walked up to me and said that he believes now and understands what I have been ranting about. He is now behind Kucinich. I swear, the guy (DK) makes me tear up when I listen to him.

5. I agree
I like Kucinich's ideas. However, at times I've felt that he raised his voice too much and seemed too shrill. He gave a great speech today, though, and I hope he plays a key role in the Democratic party for years to come.

6. I was impressed by DK
In this election cycle, it is imperative that we not let the two parties arrange not to discuss the failure known as the War on Drugs. At least Kucinich has this on his homepage and has called for regulating cannabis in a fashion similar to alcohol. If there was real sincerity about substance abuse they would want legal laughing grass to curb the problems the USG all but ignore with alcohol.

Kucinich has to do battle with a media that does not want his message to get out or PTB forbid, get elected. If you can spare $4.20 for Dennis to carry our messages, please do so. http://kucinich.us/issues/marijuana_decrim.php

7. One of the things that I like
about him is he sees the things that are not working and seeks to find another way to deal with them. He also sees the things that we do that make no sense like the treatment of cannabis and seeks to change the way we are dealing with it. He is very open to new ideas.

10. I wish he was electable
and Clark wasn't there. Clark is the man, but DK makes my liberal heart warm.

11. All it takes is votes. If everyone who likes him votes for him, he

wins.

"Peace Protecting Genius" -- a nice ending!

Watching him with the crowd is nice, too.

12. simple as that
DBDB youre a lot older than I am, is this how all primaries are, people really agreeing with one guy on the issues but not supporting him because hes "unelectable". just saying ya know.

13. They're going to find him a mate yet. ^_^
I really enjoyed the part where the former Buckeye woman let Dennis know she's available. He dealt with it so easily and so graciously, and with good humor. Superficial, yeah, but show's his human side.

Unfortunately I saw the message here that he was back on too late to catch the first part with his main speech, but listening to him debate with Dean was well worth my pumkinizing Thanks for the headsup!

16. Kucinich speaks for me on almost everything
I wish all those who pat him on the head would send him 20$ or so, if they could afford it. I finally sent him $250 after watching the Rainbow/PUSH forum, because I realized how valuable his voice was.
