1. *sigh*
As if I had to be reminded...

Will this nightmare never end, bubbaman? I mean, I lived through Nixon. I thought that was enough. I lived through Reagan/Bush. I thought that was certainly enough. Now, this assclown. This waste of skin and gravity.

Can a whole country be suicidal? Should we take the flouride out of the water and start adding Seroquel?

3. In January 2005, we'll read about the outing of a CIA agent
and saying, "oh, yeah. I remember that!'

5. Amazing--thanks for the memory
and what is even more amazing is that few have even brought this item to the attention of the American people. How many ordinary people even know of this, I wonder. This sleezy man and his sleezy dealings were never brought up pre election. We have a crook and a man with a criminal record as our unelected president--oh I forgot--he is born again--that erases everything.

6. I don't think any of this has been forgotten by anyone who witnessed
the theft of the 2000 election. The problem is that this guy has been protected and sheltered by some of the most powerful people on the American political scene. Without these people following behind him and cleaning up his dirty deals and schemes, this guy would have been serving time in a federal penitentiary long, long ago. Poppy has been very, very good to little George. He's pulled strings and saved his little failure of a son many times.

But there's something that I wonder about. What does Poppy think of his little son now? I'm sure he can see the mess of things the guy has made of everything. I'm sure that he can see that he's put this country in jeopardy, first with the mess in Afganistan and then jumping into Iraq before he had the first mess under control. I am not a Poppy Bush fan, but I have to give the guy credit for being smart enough to see exactly what a complete douche bag little "W" is. How come the only kind words for Sonny Boy come out of his mother's mouth? He doesn't exactly strike me as the proud father.

7. Well, the Bush clan is an object lesson for dysfunctional families.
I don't know if there's any inbreeding, but the symptoms are there, that much is for sure. And the sleaze goes back for at least 3 generations that we know about. I'm acquainted with a family with a similar background. The mama is a pure-dee bitch. Her son is a piece of scum of the lowest order, but she can't modify her image of him as a 'sweet little boy.'

The father is more sanguine and is reduced to the sort of sobriquets that "boys will be boys" engender. Mama thinks her offspring can do no wrong, daddy thinks he might, but it's par for the course (as he rolls his eyes.)

And I won't even get into the peccadilloes of Neil and that branch.
