Any DUers who attended "Uncovered-The Whole Truth" today?
I attended two showings of the film. While many attending felt they "already knew" the contect in the film, it was powerful to see it put together in a clear, concise way. This is so damning to the Bush administration. It must be seen by as many Americans as possible.
More than 500 people saw the film at the Kentucky theater today. About 50 or so attended at a dance studio this evening to see it.
Dean and Kucinich supporters had a presence at the theater.
What the the film showings really lacked was a call to action. What should people do next to promote the showings of this important film?
All of the Democratic candidates should support showing the film. Of course, if they supported the war by voting for it, it could be a little tricky.
Coments welcome from those who also saw the film - audience reaction, etc.
Kudos to Moveon.org for sponsoring these events!

1. Unfortunately
I was hoping to go, but was caught in transition in Florida on my way back to New England and spent about 20 hours flying from south Florida to JFK and then waiting an hour for my luggage and then riding all the way back to the house to dig out from the snow...

Oh well...

2. Geniph & I attended one in Kent WA

There were about 35 people in a small conference room in a local Best Western hotel. I thought the movie was great, and very damning of the bush administration. We never could get connected to the conference call, so we spend the next hour discussing how to get this movies message out to a broader audience, and also what we could do as individuals to ensure that George retires in Jan 2005.

Aside from how great the movie was, it was wonderful to meet people in the flesh who feel the same way we do.

We met at a house that had a large movie room. There were about 35 people there. I really enjoyed the documentary. Without ruining for anyone, I can honestly say it is refreshing to see all the lies together in one place.I wish I had some DU bumper stickers I could have handed out. :-)

3. How about conacting George Soros?
A billionaire who could afford to pay to air this film on network t.v.
I'm convinced that if this was done, short of rigging elections, Bush could not be re-elected. Americans don't like being lied to, but they have to know that they are, in fact, being lied to.
