Article: "Dean is Rove's Wet Dream"
From The Washington Dispatch

Should Republicans Help Nominate Howard Dean?
Exclusive commentary by CK Rairden

"Howard Dean is even more to Bush advisor Karl Rove. Dean is a Karl Rove wet dream. He is an anti-war liberal in a time when soccer moms have become security conscious."

1. we don't quote right-wing news sources here
The Washington Dispatch is not considered a legitimate news source at DU.

7. a right-wing audience is being urged to help nominate a candidate
just like they've been doing for months. One of the other candidates needs to stand up and call a spade a spade. Dean is their Dream candidate. Of course Karl Rove could be caught holding a Dean fundraiser in a fake Mustache and the Dean campaign would call us paranoid.

This is so beyond requiring an elaborate conspiracy.

9. There's been a lot more posting of rightwing sources lately
Never thought we had a too few liberal writers to
post from before...but seemingly the newer DU's
want to post rightwing stuff. I don't like it myself.

3. Sounds like some reverse psychology going on
The RWers want Dems think that they WANT to face Dean, so that we'll drop him. Just means they're VERY afraid of him.

8. Oh please. The only reverse psychology is Gillespie going to Vermont
which even the Dean campaign admitted they loved. All it did was rile up his cult and make him more LEGITIMATE cash

4. I posted this in another thread
but I really think they are trying to use reverse psychology and smear tactics here. Dean is a centrist so will actually appeal to a fairly broad group of people.

I think the GOPers calling him a lib and saying they want to see him on the ballot is their way of saying he terrifies them because they have discovered that he is highly electable. (Honestly, the people they would be most afraid to see follow Bu$h into office are Sharpton and Kucinich, the true liberals in the pack.)

The Dlc cutting Dean down left and right is just another case of the "left" doing the work for the right.
