Gore/Dean vs Clinton/Clark what does it all mean?
The best candidate will not have a chance...Kucinich. The second best candidate still responds to questions that best...Sharpton.

The announcement about Gore endorsing Dean stole some of Sharpton's thunder on Crossfire but he still did a magnificant job. i believe he can out think most of the Dem candidates. And we all know Sharpton is smarter than Bush.

1. Everyone of our candidates is smarter than Bush...
...hell, Dan Quayle might be smarter than Bush.

14. if Bush is so dumb, how come he's president? and how come he's got his war
I don't think Bush is a moron, even though he plays one on TV. Anyone who has read about his past... his Enron style scheme with Harken, his tax-payer funded fortune that he made as part-owner of the Texas Rangers... realizes that he really isn't all that dumb.

Sure, he plays a bumbling oaf on TV... he probably isn't THAT intelligent or cultured, but he's smart enough to become president via ruthless political manipulation and bribery-like tactics... and smart enough to get a lot of Americans behind his foolish war.

Bush is evil, but not all that stupid after all.

6. Yes, where?
Clinton has not endorsed Clark. It's only rumors that he supported his candidacy. I never believed it.

8. Both the Clintons
seem supportive of the best cnadidates without being like kingmakers. They have backed a lot of losing causes out of loyalty and party support, something Bush does not do. Many besides the Clintons think supporting all the likely candidates is a good idea and the ones who have a chance are all good.

4. Is "smarter than Bush" actually considered a compliment?
Isn't that kind of like "not quite as dumb as a stump" or "better at tennis than Ray Charles" or "morally superior to Dick Cheney?"

7. Uh, is Dean still an outsider now? The guy who picked Lieberman
and decided to treat the coup as a "legal matter" rather than a social uprising - sent Jessie Jackson home - does it again! I was one of Gore's fiercest supporters. He can take his endorsement and shove it where the sun don't shine! No statesman he! In 2001, in a local race in Minnesota he endorsed a GOP-er over a Dem and didn't bother to help the mayoral race in NYC.

9. Clinton will not support Clark now...
Edited on Mon Dec-08-03 05:19 PM by Patriot_Spear
Bill Clinton, the master politician and populist, can see better than anyone else that Dean has the momentum and the edge- he will publicly support Dean very shortly.

Bet on it.

Will Clinton back an obvious loser? No. (for the record I like Clrk, but I prefer Dean)

10. I disagree
I do not believe the Clintons will endorse anyone until after the primaries and the candidate is chosen. I am surprised by this endorsement, if true, by Gore.

11. I don't agree
Clinton may still endorse someone else...It's not highly likely but very possible.

12. For the record, I believe
that Clark and Dean are just about even/steven nationally.

13. For the record: I believe the Dennis Kucinich is a better for Dems
than either Clark or Dean but the politcal powers don't think so. He is a steadfast, to the core Dem.
