Do you think Lieberman will finally see the light now?
Now that he's been given a sufficient slap in the face by Gore's endorsement and his veiled references to Lieberman in his speech when he spoke of how some of the candidates were wrong to support the Iraqi invasion and to try to cut down Dean and other candidates, do you think Holy Joe will finally see the light and realize that he's done and it's time to drop out of the race?

I, for one, was absolutely amazed that he expressed surprise at Gore's endorsement. Why in the hell should he have been the least bit surprised? His backstabbing of Gore during the 2000 election fiasco should have been enough of a clue right there to him that Gore wasn't going to look too kindly on his candidacy.

2. No.
It is pretty evident that Joe thinks that he has a constituency that he is representing. Also, it is also pretty evident that he feels that the nomination is his by some conferred right.

I doubt we will have to do without Holy Joe for a while yet.

6. Yes, he certainly does believe,
for some ungodly reason, that he has a divine right to the nomination, and that's just one of the many, many, many, MANY problems I have with Holy Joe. There's nothing more irritating than someone who believes that.

3. Ya, Libermen gave up on Gore in 2000
Gore was right to endorse Dean, but really, the whole election debacle must have been on his mind. I mean why should Gore endorse Liberman when Liberman didn't endorse him when the Florida theft started!

4. I think Lieberman, an all the other candidates,
knew this was going to happen about a month ago, about the same time newsguyatl did. It had to be kind of an open secret.

5. He's blind if he doesn't
Gee, how many bricks need to fall on his head?! Get a clue already, you don't have a chance!

There are others in the race who know they won't win either, but they bring with them a message; Lieberman brings nothing!

13. I know, sometimes I just can't
believe how thick-headed he really is in just not seeing any of this. I wonder if he just doesn't see it or if he knows but refuses to acknowledge it?

8. Gawd, I hope so.
Why won't he get that if given the choice between
Repug-lite and Repug, people will vote for the real
thing?

His voice is almost as grating to me as Dubya's,
and that's saying something.

10. He's clueless. I'd take Sharpton over Lieberman ANY DAY.
He is totally unelectable, and I doubt any of these guys would even want to give him a cabinet position, much less VP. What a wet blanket this dork is. He should join hands with Zell Miller and traipse his little ass over to the GOP. Maybe they can bring some sanity back to that snake's nest of a party.

12. Yes, I've thought for awhile now
that he should just make it official and switch parties, since that's obviously where he's happiest!

9. Lets hope so....
I was so utterly embarassed for Lieberman on the Today Show this morning. The man is clearly delusional. He should have thrown in the towel long ago.

He's a mensch, for sure, and I'm Jewish, but...this man never had a chance. Too bad he couldn't have come to that conlusion gracefully on his own...

14. I really hope so. Q4 fundraising numbers should knock him out.
