Can the Gore endorsement win the Tennessee primary for Dean?
Gore still carries enormus influence within the Tennessee Democratic Party and its base constituencies. I am wondering if his endorsement of Dean could deliver that state to him in the Tennessee primaries. The last Tennessee poll I saw had Edwards ahead, and I don't remember who was in second place. Any thoughts from Tennesseans or those in the know would be appreciated.

5. You are aware of the vote fraud/problems in TN 2000 elections, right?

9. Gore may have actually won in TN
if not for electoral fraud.

besides that, remember that we're talking about the DEM primary. Gore would be expected to have more influence in that race than in the general.

4. I think Dean could have won TN without the endorsement
With Dean's NRA record and budget balancing and jobs and healthcare stance, Dean could do well in TN.

6. Dunno
The last time I looked at Open Secrets, Edwards was raking in major bucks compared to Dean - but not nearly as many as Bush*

8. It'll be Edwards Last Stand
He'll probably lose SC then his loss in Tenn will spell the end of Edwards.
