Just took an AOL online poll, who would u vote 4 Dean/Bush?

It said Pres. Damien-56% Dean-36% 384k+ votes. Seems a little out of step w/ most polls!! What ya think three hundred thousand repugs at Delay's command jumped online and voted?

I find that repulsive!! Why can't we all realize that we all desire the same goal: defeating bush. So although we may not agree on who or how to defeat him, let's remember that in they end we still desire the same thing. If you're upset aboout Gore's endorsement or whatever. That's fine. If you wish to change to another candidate b/c of that, terrific and good luck to your guy. But can we not agree that if your or my guy doesn't get the nod we will then come together and pursue our common goal of TAKING OUR DAMN COUNTRY BACK FROM THE ABYSS? In the end, are we all not part of the same party? Where's the unity? The committment and dedication to your party? That's all we're saying. No more, no less. Why would anyone get so upset that they would betray their owb beliefs, your own democratic party and your country to continue America on a destructive path simply b/c you are mad. That's wrong!! Come on people!!! Where's the spirit of MLK, Ghandi, RFK, JFK, Susan B. Anthony, Mother Jones, Rosa Parks and of course Lincoln!!!! We owe it to them. I think of those people regularly and I think we would all benefit if we all thought of them a little more.

His take on democracy is decidedly undemocratic, unless he's engineered a full unity administration from the back room... oh, he's better be doing this sort of thing with kit gloves... it could divide the party. and make nader another spoiler. HINT!!!!! : Throw in re-thinking the drugs war with dennis kucinich as attounry general and cement the entire cannabis legallization and associated fringe libertarian vote.

I'd never vote for Bush* for any reason whatsoever. Heck, I'd even vote for Lieberman if he were the nominee.

because all its message borads seemed completely overrun by freeper types, so I wouldn't be surprised if their polls are skewed. Also, AOL just sucked in general.

I hope they have a very Republican Christmas. Debt and more debt. I also left AOL and it took six months before they would acknowlege it and kept charging my card. Really pissed me off. They have all sorts of hoops to jump through.

I suspect that we're talking about some nondiscriminating consumers in general.

Kerry and Clark always show up much better against Bush for
as simple reason. They shed blood on the battlefield for their
country in contrast to Bush or Dean who both felt ok to let others
fight in there place. A lot of voters feel strongly about this regardless of domestic policy positions.

tend to lean towards the conservative side of the spectrum. It could also be a factor of name recognition, people are just beginning to know who Dean is.

Beyond all the rationalizations, this is a real problem. AOL does tend to lean conservative but its polls also reflect a large cross-section of middle America. Having been subjected to Rove's propaganda for almost 3 years, most probably don't even know who Dean is. No other candidate would probably have done much better. But this poll is still shocking proof of how difficult it is going to be to overcome conventional biases. The media will be no help unless, as last night's debate showed, they aggressively start to question the questioners. If we play the game, we lose.
