3. OMG are Freepers actually lowballing the ratings?

... it looks like somebody is giving these stories 1's. A couple of them were at 5.0 with about 10 votes and suddenly dropped to about 4.0.

Do people actually not care about the integrity of our election system? Not even THIS is a bi/nonpartisan issue???

4. I Think the Yahoo Rating system could be rigged.
I just rated all the stories at 5. I think this is an important issue, both for the claims and the responses from the machine manufacturers. On the stories where the possibitlity of vote fraud was raised, on two occaisions, there were 18 responses and a rating of 3.99. After I rated the story a 5, the rating level did not change. However, on a story where Diebold's response was in the headline, which I also rated a 5, there were 18 ratings at a rating level of 3.90. After my 5, the ratings jumped to 3.96.
I'm not really good with math or statistics, but I can't see a .06 change upwards for a 5 with 19 ratings and no movement from 3.99 to even a 4 with the same number of responses. I could be wrong, but maybe Diebold is tabulating the ratings for Yahoo..hmm.

5. *shrug*... doesn't look "rigged" to me...

... maybe you already rated the other stories? or misread the number of votes already cast?

I think the ones that were at 3.99 had quite a few votes already...

6. Like I said
I could be wrong, but I was pretty sure about the numbers. I don't know for sure, but maybe someone else might want to see if they notice anything odd. ( Not stating any facts here. I could easily be mistaken.)
