Unseating Tom DeLay
For those of us in his district, he seems pretty unbeatable. But unseating DeLay is such a valuable goal, it's always made sense to me to nationalize the contest against him. Here's an interesting interview with his challenger.

Think about it: if you could just change one seat in the country, wouldn't you want to exorcise DeLay?

2. Maybe we can raise money on the Dean website.
I know other close seats are more important, but I doubt many would turn down the sheer joy of taking a piece of DeLay.

3. Does Texas use computerized voting statewide now?
If so forget upsetting DeLay.

Which is also the county that leads in death penalty convictions. Yay for us.

Well, it was a nice idea, wasn't it?

5. I'm originally from Texas and still have many relatives there.
So I do understand and wish you the best in your efforts to unseat that &%$#^@.

6. I'm in Texas, but not in the right district to vote against DeLay, but ...
I met Morrison at the Dean rally, and pledged to him that I would give what I could in both time and money. If Democrats nationwide who realize that DeLay's influence is so much bigger than his little Texas district, would unite and support Morrison, I think we could have a fighting chance at kicking the bastard out.

13. There was a thread about him awhile back
it sounded like he was a DUer, but when i read more closely, the poster was quoting right from the website... so I think the "I"s in the post were really "he"s.

Having said that, his website shows he's got the right message for DeLay's district - sort of a Carter Christian. Also a non-partisan message that still manages to attack Delay without sounding like an idealogue. He focuses on the real, districtwide problems with Delay's policies, moreso than the national scale of things. We could learn something about Texas from Morrison.

We have the skills to back Rich. Can some DUers help him out with advice, information, technology? Let's flex some DU muscle. We can help this guy with our skills (political and otherwise).
