OMG! I didn't even make it thru the debate, sure Joe was on my last nerve but TK, omg!

He's the only person on earth who reminds me more of Alfred E. Newman than the "President."

I'll never forget when Jerry Brown was running in the 92 primaries and he had this BIG NEWS STORY about some bodyguard or whatever of Linda Rondstandt saying he saw Jerry sitting in some house circa 1975 where Linda & musicians were GASP smoking pot!!! And he was acting like, oh what a big deal.

Tidbit: Has-been actress Sally Kirland & Ted went to the same high school and went to the prom and GAK made out and everything...she was going on about it on an old Tom Snyder show once!

...and even Holy Joe seemed awfully glad about Kusinich's "This is what the media does..." comments towards Koppel- he shook his hand after he said it...

Those questions were outrageous, and designed to skip the issues and pit DEM against DEM- fortunatley none of the candidates fell for it too hard or at all...

but he did a dreadful job tonight, IMO.

if it had been set up by an evil DUer it could not have been done better for a chance to have the dems to tee off on the media and its lack of reporting substance.

we ought to be thankful for the gift koppel handed the candidates to attack the methods of the media.

i wonder, considering how smart koppel really is, if he went over the top expecting the response he got just to have the dems point out the failings of the press.

koppel is old school, was a reporter in viet nam, and saw a lot of death and destruction there, i know he was outraged at the way the abc news department was folded into the entertainment division and lost its independence when abc was bought by disney and he has spoken repeatedly about how the tv news and media in general are no longer doing their job as the watchdogs of democracy.

and he took his public spanking well too, as if he was the straight man in a two man comedy team.
