want to take away their SUVs, just like gun owners and gun ownering union members believed the NRA propaganda that Gore wanted to take away their guns?

1. Imho

most SUV owners would be better off with a minivan or station wagon but don't want to admit it.

I always consider them station wagons on steroids.

I got cut off by one in the valet lane of all places. The guy comes out with the cell phone in one hand, his "Body by Dupont" wife / girlfriend walks over to his side, looking for the valet. The kid looks at him, then comes over to me & my puny Saturn Coupe and registers me first. The guy goes ballistic, demanding to know why he wasn't served first.

The valet says, "If you weren't such a d1ck, I would have gotten to you first."

I made sure that he got a big tip when he returned my car :evilgrin:

I'm driving in a very dense rethug area, see a soccer mom in a mini0van (soccer decal on the window, "My kids an hinor student at...." bumper sticker,, the whole thing. Newly affixed (i.e. not weatherworn) bumper sticker sez: "Bush 2004."

He's wrecked thee economy, the Constitution, and our relations abroad, and they still love him.

Folks, if we don't quit the infighting and unite quickly behind ANY candidiate, Bush is gonna win by a landslide that'll make Reagan II look close.
