Tommy Thompson/AIDS in Africa

I apologize for excessive capitalization in my other thread, it slipped my mind.

On CNN's Inside politics... if you Republicans care so much about stopping AIDS, how about allowing generic drugs to be imported and or manufactured?

Oh yeah, we care about stopping AIDS, as long as it doesn't cut into the profits of pharmaceutical corporations.

It makes me sick... millions dying, and all they do is count their money.

I admire people like Bono from U2 who give so much time and money to such causes. If only we had more people like that.

not sure where the part of worship money more than helping the afflicted and dying is a part of that theology... :shrug:

I would like to say I am surprised. But I am not. There is no compassion within bush. There is no recognition that this decision will result in a vast number of more deaths. Or if there is recognition, there is callous disregard.
