My cousin is going to be in Baghdad until April 2004 and perhaps longer
I just spoke to his wife this weekend and this means he will be there over a year and a half ...and he is a reservist... If not for my uncle and aunt she would be collapsing right now... I told her that I was thinking about him and that I hope he comes home sooner...
I asked if she got to speak to him often and she told me once a month.. she also said that it wasn't so great for most soldiers (her husband is an MP)... not all of them get access to email or phones or even hot showers as frequently as they would like you to think on TV.
2. the only reason my cousin's husband is in the reserves
is because my uncle (his father in law) is a retired colonel...who told him he could "set him up" with some extra cash every month...now my uncle gets to pay his daughter's mortgage...
