BBV. Fortune Magazine's worst technology of the year
Paperless voting won this dubious award.

the camera phone was the best technology, and the best product was the iTunes music store.

It appears people are listening to our complaints about the black box voting machines. way to go Bev and the rest of the gang. Ya doin a great job.

2. We're so close and yet so far.
Senator Bob Graham of Florida intoduced S1980 in the Senate last week to
prevent paperless voting, but it has no cosponsors yet.

Meanwhile, Rush Holt of New Jersey's HR2239 has 94 cosponsors, but it takes 218 Congressperson's to force something out of committee.

3. I wrote my senator and asked him to cosponsor, but my
senator is Mitch McConnell. Fat chance he'd do anything for the people he is sworn to represent.

6. Well, I sent
my 2 Senators an appeal to co-sponsor Graham's S1980 bill, using this Fortune link as a kicker. Although dems in name, they both proved themselves worthless by failing to oppose Asscrapt and the Orwellian-named "patriot" bill, but at last one got the IWR right and maybe both are beginning to feel some sense of unease about this fascist coup. Well, I can hope.
