While he definitely would have gotten more than 270 votes I do not believe that he would have won that many more states than Gore, His personal magnetism would have probably ensured Ohio and West Virginia. Which southern states would he have carried?

2. You're right, I'm sure he would have been re-elected, IMO.
He was so popular during the impeachment scandal. Plus, he would havbe had the advantage of incumbency.

3. LA, FL, TN, KY, maybe GA, AZ...

We can't forget how incredibly popular he was, even after the impeachment. He could have broken the 400 electoral-vote barrier, conceivably.

4. He would have mopped the floor with * in the debates.
Gore, unfortunately, came off looking too arrogant when he had to put the beatdown on *. (Of course, the "liberal" media helped fuel that impression.)

But Clinton, man, he just demolished Dole in '96 and stood out well against the wimp (Bush 1) and the twerp (Perot) in '92. He could have sent Bushie boy back to his corner crying in a debate. And Clinton would have done it with humor & class.

6. I can actually see...
... the audience at that theoretical debate rolling with laughter, after the Big Dog gave a beatdown to *. He had that knack...

5. Most definitely California . . .
oh, hell, let's just say he would have won every state except Texas and Florida. Texas and Florida shouldn't even be part of the U.S. anymore!
