Lieberman will stay in the race until he's spent every dollar he's raised (and maxed out his credit cards) and then he'll probably abstain from endorsing the nominee (if it's Dean).

13. two things to note about Lieberman

1) Lieberman voted for the Securities Litigation Reform Act, the only bill to be vetoed by Clinton and then passed over his veto.

The SLRA makes it more difficult for investors defrauded by false corporate earnings statements to sue. Some people think the SLRA encouraged the Enron scandal.

2) During the 2000 Florida recount, Lieberman responded to the issue of overseas military ballots postmarked AFTER the election from soldiers not registered to vote in Florida by saying, "Let's count every vote."
