How can we marginalize the ideology of neoconservativism....
....and the people that are beholden to George W. Bush quickly before they do too much more damage to America?

I know first we need to win 2004 for the presidency, and try to oust people like Katherine Harris and Tom Delay. Etc.

Can it be marginalized?

1. DeLay must be removed
I'm in his district. It will be an uphill battle, but I don't see how anyone can deny the importance of that.

Something must be done about the Falwell-Robertson voting bloc.

3. Agreed.
Everyone is affected by Tom DeLay. The effort to get him removed needs some kind of national coordination. I have no idea how to get that done, however.

4. It would already be marginalized
If the populace were informed about what it actually is- a radical Imperialist, anti-democratic, and anti-American ideology.

What was it a Kissinger staffer in the 70s said about the plan to take over the Middle East and establish American hegemony (or democracy, *cough*)-

It was formulated by either a madman or a criminal. (Probably both.)

We need to let people know what is really going on, domestically and abroad- what their extreme and radical goals are. Most Americans would be shocked and repulsed.

How We Got Into This Imperial Pickle: A PNAC Primer

By: Bernard Weiner

05/27/03: Recently, I was the guest on a radio talk-show hosted by a thoroughly decent far-right Republican. I got verbally battered, but returned fire and, I think, held my own. Toward the end of the hour, I mentioned that the National Security Strategy -- promulgated by the Bush Administration in September 2002 -- now included attacking possible future competitors first, assuming regional hegemony by force of arms, controlling energy resources around the globe, maintaining a permanent-war strategy, etc.

"I'm not making up this stuff," I said. "It's all talked about openly by the neo-conservatives of the Project for the New American Century -- who now are in charge of America's military and foreign policy -- and published as official U.S. doctrine in the National Security Strategy of the United States of America."

The talk-show host seemed to gulp, and then replied: "If you really can demonstrate all that, you probably can deny George Bush a second term in 2004."

Two things became apparent in that exchange:

1) Even a well-educated, intelligent radio commentator was unaware of some of this information; and,

2) Once presented with it, this conservative icon understood immediately the implications of what would happen if the American voting public found out about these policies.

6. To marginalize the neoconservatives requires..
discrediting them in the eyes of the media-brainwashed masses. This means exposing their lies.

Of course there are countless lies, so where does one start? How about on what is arguably the biggest issue of the day - the 'war' and occupation of Iraq.

The recent Move-On viewing of the documentary on Iraq documenting beyond any doubt the fraud beyond the war in Iraq was powerful in this regard. It was brilliant. It contrasted the professionals in the field who studied Iraq and its military abilities with the venal political figures such as Cheney, Bush, Powell, Rice and others..
These professionals came from both political parties, or were non partison.

Once the blatant lies of the administration's 'reasons' for this quagmire are exposed, it does not take much to leap to the lies this administration, and by association the GOP, perpetuate in all other realms, foreigh and domestic.

The unraveling of the lies, and administration and GOP credibility, moves rapidly from there.

In short, exploit the 'credibility gap,' starting with the phoney reasons why this administration rammed a war down our throats and is now attempting to solidify its control over the endless quagmire that is Iraq.

Their downfall snowballs from there.
