More than 14 million viewers will get to know John Edwards better -- just over a month before the Iowa caucuses begin.

Tune in to the the top-rated television news magazine and cheer John on. The CBS show is scheduled to begin at 7 PM ET Sunday, but check your local listings because NFL games may push the start time back. Write an e-mail to your friends about this TV appearance.

1. Thanks surfermaw! Edwards deserves some good exposure.
Do you remember it was a year ago Sunday that Gore appeared on 60 minutes announcing that he would not run.

Let's look at a new, happier kick-off to the new year.

We always go to a tree-trimming party on this night - but we always gather round the tv if 60 Minutes has something good.

We'll be watching.

Yes, that is just what the many middle road voters need to see is a negative aspect of the democratic campaign for President. A good WWF rendention of the effort to win the hearts and minds of swing voters would really sell well on primetime TV.

3. Just got a fund-raising letter from Edwards
He said he was in a similar position to Bill Clinton at this point of Clinton's first run. Can anybody confirm?

5. Good for JEdwards...
too bad Dennis Kucinich doesn't get such prime time FREE advertising. If he did we could really get some things done in this country.

But, as the saying goes: The Revolution will not be televised!

7. Interesting bartcop poll up...
Biased sample, admittedly, but interesting nonetheless, imho.

If the 2004 presidential election were held today who would you vote for?

Howard Dean 34%

Wesley Clark 27%

Dennis Kucinich 22%

Al Sharpton 8%

Dick Gephardt 0%

Carol Moseley Braun 4%

John Edwards 0%

Joe Liberman 0%

John Kerry 2%

George W. Bush 1%

Total Votes: 10234

8. Edwards?
The last thing I want is a guy like him coming up north and telling ME what to do.

Sorry- but he should NOT have said that.

11. I hope he talks more about the evils of lobbyists!
I was delighted when he addressed that more than once in the last debate. That is such a horrifying situation with lobbyists writing legislation. Americans need to know this stuff.

I'll be watching and hoping!
