The press conference is in Baghdad. That's a perfectly natural reaction, especially from local Iraqi journalists.

Now if someone tries that in the White House press room, they'll get a polite or no reaction at all.

was from a half dozen or so Iraqi journalists(?).
Now what?
It's a propaganda victory for the Bushies*, but in the larger scheme of things I don't think it means much. I really don't think the "insurgents" are Saddam led.
Just my 2 cents.

His first response. "Oh thats big news, What do you think the democrats are gonna do now?" Background, he's a casual republican. He likes them because they cut his taxes and he finds the left in general a bit crazy. All I could say, what does that have to do with the democrats. Was just a funny moment, but telling of how the news will be taken by most people.
