2. I predict
America will have its own Saddam Husain right here. His name will be George Bush. A couple decades from now he too will be hunted down from the White House after he has ruined a once great nation and sold out by someone like you for a couple million.

5. Maybe Not
With Saddamm's capture, maybe some of the truth will start to leak out. It can't be good for Dimbo and his cronies.

12. re: wmds and the way-broad definition the WH wants to use
Predictably, one C-span caller this morning made the point (a talking point, for sure) that Saddam himself is THE weapon of mass destruction. I don't know who's buying that aside from the already-brainwashed, but somebody was thinking ahead to what issues will come to the fore after this dies down.

10. Attacks will continue. Demands for U.S. to leave will intensify now
What will be our excuse for staying now? No WMD's, that's clear. We "got" Saddam.

Why do we stay? Why don't we turn over power to Iraqis?

heh heh heh

(don't say "oil", can't say it, its not oil, its not....really)

11. Democrats should make sure that it is not forgotten.
The capture of Saddam is good news for Iraqis and for democrats. The Iraqi people are going to want their country back now. Bush won't like that. Democrats should side with the Iraqi people. Make Bush defend retaining control of Iraq.

Most Americans probably thought that Saddam would be killed or captured sooner or later. Rather than think that the capture of Saddam solves everything, they will be asking what happens now. Bush won't have an answer to that question until Turd Blossom Rove runs it through the focus groups.

Democrats should seize this opportunity to argue for turning the reconstruction of Iraq over to the UN. They need to emphasize the number of countries which have offered lots of troops and lots of money if the UN is in charge of the reconstruction. Democrats should stress that this is a wonderful opportunity to save American lives and money. Make Bush defend the continued occupation and exploitation of Iraq and the costs to America in lives and money.

First it was about WMD.

Then it was about removing the evil dictator.

What will it be about now? Bush will look bad answering this question.

13. I predict a couple slow weeks on the attacks
and then for them to pick up. And only the Fox viewers understand the major part of the troops are not coming home, * will have to come up with a new major reason for being there.

14. It'll be dredged up whenever needed.
The millions that Halliburton *overcharged* is now forgotten. Plame outing is now forgotten.....
A *trial* of Hussein will also knock out whatever unpleasantries this administration might be facing.
