Where are the "WMD"? And where is Osama bin Laden?
The "coalition" may have captured Saddam Hussein, but it still faces two more daunting challenges: Where are the "weapons of mass destruction" that were used to justify a "pre-emptive" invasion of Iraq?

And where is the mastermind behind 9/11/01? Does today's celebration seem like a double geo-political "bait and switch" to you?

Does anyone really think last night's capture brings us any closer to finding WMD or to capturing bin Laden?

3. The WMD's were in that hole where they found Saddam...
but the coalition forces mistook them for a couple of empty whiskey bottles and a shopping cart...

4. I'd also like to know where a lot of things are:
• The anthrax mailer
• The Plame leaker
• The yellowcake uranium
• Three million jobs
• Most of my 401(k)
• The goodwill we used to have in the world

5. where is the anthrax murderer?
imo arresting SH could have been done 5 months ago ... it didn't take 'shock and awe', maiming and killing, destroying Iraqi infrastructure so Halliburton could rebuild it ...

SH's whereabouts have likely been known ... the card needed to be played ... too much heat on Cheney ...

SH's story won't be believed ... it'll be spun as lies ... 'he gassed his own people .. ya going to believe what he says' ... Oh'Really and company will cover the lies IAW Rove's faxes ...

meanwhile ... how many months have gone by since Americans died 'over here' from anthrax?

Wal-Mart America doesn't care about "what if" analysis ... the only thing that matters: SH has been captured ... build whatever lies around it ... Wal-Mart America will pick up the talking points as the Corporate Media repeats them over time ...

7. Hush right now... RIGHT NOW!!
Those kind of attacks back fire too easily. The Bush Co puts together a rusty pipe with chemical residue in a ditch and they have the WMDs or the Pakistanis finally hand over Bin Laden.

Then those kind of attacks backfire.

Duh. We are seeing that right now. Yet, people keep on.

You have to attack Bush on the lack of a post-war plan and his bumbling diplomacy and well a half dozen other things.

But if the Dems make WMDs a focus in the election they will produce evidence right after the first debate.

Then you are f*cked hard.

8. And where are the WH documents 9/11 survivors are demanding?
Edited on Sun Dec-14-03 07:02 PM by skeptic9
NO discussion thread should be allowed to end with a post that says "HUSH".

You are wise to urge caution in formulating criticisms of the incumbents at the WH. We have to think several steps ahead and anticipate Rove's responses and spins.

But you seem to try to stifle the questions the whole world is asking, right at a rare "teachable moment" for millions of Fox-brainwashed Americans.

The questions raised in this thread are fundamental and MUST be addressed.Any alleged "WMD" to be "discovered" after hundreds of GIs have been lost needlessly and thousands of Iraqis have becomed "collateral damage" would be way too little, way too late.

And even if Rove paraded OBL on the floor of the GOP convention next summer, in stripes and irons, the questions 9/11 survivors are asking will not go away. The "Osama clock" has ticked so far that any capture of bin Laden now would be perceived as way to little, YEARS too late.
