Will Saddam testify?

I would think that he could make a case against the US. Won't he say something like "I told you there weren't any WMDs"? I think he may come off sympathetic before the world if allowed to state his case.

I think he will be able to convince many people that he's a sympathetic character-not that he is, it's just that he's going to say that what he did was in the line of duty and with the backing of the US, and that he was invaded unjustly. And, rather than run, he stayed in his home town, which will look brave to other Muslims.
