Dean voted against the war, Kerry talked as if he had voted against the war, they were both against the way postwar Iraq and the search for Saddam was being conducted, so this is bad for both of them.

I hope I'm wrong. I hope the bastards give up, go home, and our troops can come back to America ASAP. This might help Bush, but after the next 10 months it may not seem as important as current events.

It will be seen as a hollow event in two months.

Indeed, as George W. God has said himself, Saddam was no longer an issue because his regime had been deposed and he was in hiding.

By extension... Saddam should also be tried in the Hague.

ANY tyrannt caught should be put on trial in the Hague for crimes against Humanity.

This helps bolster International Law.

International Court because he doesn't countenance its authority. It will be in Iraq where his minions can control it. I have no idea how this affects the election. It is probably too early to tell.

This will have no effect on Dean and Kerry will continue to drop.

How do you praise the Bush capture of Saddam while also attacking him. If this capture is so beneficial for the US, then Bush benefits not Kerry. IF it does not prove beneficial, the Bush suffers, and true anti-war candidates benefit.

Kerry is trying to be on both sides of this and it will not work.

I don't see how capturing Saddam vindicates the US for a war built on lies with the ulterior motive to usurp Iraqi oil.

The Bush Admin still lied and those who voted for the war based on lies were chumped OR went along to play it safe.

Then of course there's all those dead soldiers and innocent Iraqis.

But if you all want to believe this changes everything, enjoy. Reality will set in soon.

Lastly, I AM happy for those Iraqis who did believe Saddam invincible and possibly returning to power. I still believe it could have been done differently. Like with many thousand fewer dead bodies and tens of billions less $$.
