It's amazing what a good night's sleep will do to your perspective

It's truly amazing what a good night's sleep will do to a person's perspective on party politics. I went to bed last night thinking there was no way I was going to vote for anybody but Dean in the general election. I went to sleep honestly believing that because, quite frankly, I was incredibly angry at the audacity of some Democrats.

After sleeping on it, the reason I was angry doesn't seem so important any more. Right now, I have to say I'm back to supporting Anybody But Bush and am no longer behind any single candidate. The primary in my state isn't until March, so picking a candidate is really an effort in futility until we see how some of the early primaries work out any way.

So now, I don't care who should get the nomination. If the nominee comes out and admits he spent every dime he could to put together an attack ad linking a fellow Democrat to Osama, I don't care.

If the winner of the nomination is Zell Miller, I don't care.

If the collective wisdom of the Democratic Party says, run a ham sandwich against Bush, I'm for the ham sandwich.

If Tom Daschle gets the nomination through some kind of political infighting stunt, I'm a Daschle man.

If Hillary Clinton throws her hat into the ring come the day before the first primary then she wins, I'll be pounding the streets for Hillary.

Yep, it's amazing what a good night's sleep will do to your perspective. I highly recommend it to everybody. A lot can change in those 6 to 8 hours of sleep to help you get your eye on the prize.

The invasion of Iraq was still the wrong decision...Saddam was not a threat to the US...and he could have been taken out without the loss of so many American and Iraqi lives. Never lose focus of these facts. Bush has still squandered the respect and admiration that most of the world felt for America. Iraq was the center piece of the war on terror merely because this administration made it so. American soldiers are still being targeted in Iraq and Afghanistan and the American invasion of Iraq has ignited and enlarged an long-term war between Muslims and non-Muslims. Meanwhile, Isael is still having its way with the Palestinians.

A huge good thing about the way Saddam was taken is that he didn't put up a fight, didn't commit suicide, and seems to be cooperating with his captors. This will drive a stake in the heart of most of the hard core resistence by his supporters. After all, he didn't even put up the fight the Uday and Qusay did. Thus, he is shamed before his supporters.

But it ain't over yet. Just heard that Musharaff just missed being involved in an explosion.

I'm focused on one thing, getting the usurper frat boy dick tater out of the White House.

Secretly I'm ABB but Publically I don't endorse that position because it encourages mediocracy, IMO.

I want the candidates to woo me. Make them work for it. :)
