Poll question: What Will Bush's Poll Ratings Be In The Next Round Of Polls
In Light Of The Capture of Saddam?

I believe most curent polls have him in the 50% to 56% range...

15. He's actually in the low 50s
only one poll had him above 55 percent, and that was weeks ago, right after Thanksgiving.

2. He'll get a dead cat bounce for about a month
Problem is, he's only got one stunt left in his bag of tricks, and Afghanistan looks too ugly for him to be able to pull it.

18. Funny you should mention dead cats when Frist is on TV
kissing Junior's ass all over FAUX Sunday :puke:

But I agree... Dipshit will get a bounce of 5 -10 points out of this for a week or two, then sink like a rock again.

3. I doubt this will be much of a permanent gain
He'll go way up and then slowly coast back down.

6. The FAUX bimbos will be having big "O"'s on camera.
And as FAUX Nooze ("Shit, Man, we're 'Fair and Balanced' because we SAY we're 'Fair and Balanced'!")goes, so goes the Sheeple.

I just heard on the BBC that Gerhardt Schroeder has sent his "Congratulations" to The Shrub for "his" capture of Bad Guy Numma-Wun.....

8. He gets a bump, but not a giant one.
As the election draws nearer, people focus more and more on their finances, and less on stuff like this.

11. I didn't vote because I'm not sure. but it will be very interesting to
see where it goes. if it hits the mid to high eighties then he will be in a good spot. but if it only goes up 10 points, man the repugs will really start freaking out.

12. The party will be over after the next attack on coalition troops...
The next major attack will bring his #'s back down to at least the mid 50's...

17. You must distinguish (at least) two poll questions
1) How is bushsucks* doing as a pResident? His favorability rating.
2) Will you vote for bushsucks*? His re(heh-heh)-elect numbers.

I think #1 will get a nice rise for a while, but believe the #2 number will remain essentially the same (in the shitter). Two completely distinct poll numbers.
