Brown on CNN: Saddams capture must have come as a shock to Osama
Edited on Sun Dec-14-03 11:55 AM by CatWoman
because it relays the message, "You can be caught too".

I look at that as just another way the media is trying to link the two men together.

Personally, I would think Osama is celebrating too.

We all know there is no love lost between the two men.

1. Osama is laughing in a cave somewhere
"AHAHAHAH they are wasting their time in Iraq when I'm the one threatening America..."

Even though getting Saddam is good news, the propaganda campaign from the right will be so SICKENING... I might puke...

2. I like your point.
Indeed, the media will try and pad *bush's scheduled and prepared accomplishments; ie..."Iraqi Freedom"....hohoho...

and use the subliminal connection of Osama with Saddam.

3. What I want to know about the media
is did they all get messages yesterday to send camera crews to Ira*?

We've heard lately of journalist being silenced and cameras ripped from their hands by coalition forces .. so

How many cameras were at the capture . announcement ?

5. Quite a few callers
to CSPAN this morning were praising his capture and mentioning Sept. 11 in the same breath. :eyes:

7. He may be surprised his plan is falling together so quickly
After decades of being unable to remove Saddam Hussein from power, militant Islamic fundamentalists like bin Laden finally found a way to get the US to do it.

Now the way to putting the Ayatollah of Iraq in power is that much more clear.
