With the capture, we Progressives are under the microscope

Let me take a stab at this.

Let's be very careful how we handle ourselves and our opinions here. It is natural that we feel conflicted...we aren't use of this administration having any tangable success at all...so we don't have much practice with this.

I think our opinion should be:

"I'm glad the got Saddam, now the next step is to have an election and pull out so the Iraqi people get on with their lives."

This is effective becuase we know the Neocons don't want to get out of Iraq...but now there is one less reason to stay. I don't expect *'s approval ratings to jump much, and if they do it will be short-lived. Let's just swallow some pride and realize that EVEN A BLIND CHIPMONK FINDS A NUT SOMETIMES.
