1. We opposed this war not because Saddam was a bad guy, but because we didn't feel he was a strategic threat. If we still can't find WMDs, then * won't be abled to make this into a long term victory.
2. Violence, if Fedyeen violence continues on a similar scale, and if * really screws up in the rebuilding effort.
3. We haven't captured Bin Laden, and Afghanistan is still a mess.
Once again, WE'RE NOT SCREWED. THERE ARE STILL 11 MONTHS BEFORE THE ELECTIONS. ANYTHING CAN HAPPEN!! Even if we lose, can we stop complaining about how this will be the end of democracy and the death of the Democrats! We all hate *, but he's just a reckless dunder-head who gets us into trouble worldwide, not a self-thinking neo-Nazi. Things won't be as bad if we lose as people may think.
All of this said, I'm glad Saddam has been captured. Regardless of political affiliation, we should be glad to see tyrants captured, although the means to topple them weren't justified.
