3. No - Now its all worth it because we got Saddam now
He is the one who flew both planes into the WTC and parachuted out so he could place wallets and IDs convienently located around the rubble and then dis-illusion Wallmart into ripping off the american way of life by keeping 40% to 60% of their work force as a temp employee to keep from paying benifits and tell us this is GOOD for america

4. That's exactly my thinking!! Now Cheney and Halliburton can go
back to raping the country while we have a nice show trial as a diversion. It will be bigger that OJ!!! Except they won't let us see the parts where Saddam reveals all the help he got from the US, Britain, etc. over the years in terms of weapons, etc.

A caller today to BBC, one who had worked for a rights group and collected evicence against Hussein, said that the Conservative gov. who had helped would be brought up...but quickly went on to say the "main thrust" would be the crimes by SH.

But, I think, the Iraqis know who set up Saddam....and it won't take much to remind them. Saddam might very well stir the pot up on this.

7. Amazing, isn't it?
Just when you think the old proverbial crap is about to hit the fan -- nothing. We get conveniently diverted to other news. I saw this very clearly when Bush was in England. I was pacing the floor with anticipation; that this would finally be IT. The American public would finally see what Europeans think of him. That very same day, Michael Jackson became the man of the hour. Notice: he was arrested, but wasn't charged with anything.

Now, once again the heat is getting turned up with the Halliburton thing. Presto: change of focus. Color me suspicious.

We should never forget that these guys are pros. They've got lots of tricks up their sleeve.

10. The US : the most manipulated country in the world
I started a thread about the same subject, which I guess will be locked soon. Here's what I wrote there.

The Bush administration keeps on manipulating the US and the world media with this sudden tactic. Last week was really bad week for Bush, Cheney, etc. Bush giving the finger to the rest of the world over the spoils of war in EYEraq. The world really saw how twisted this administration is. Then the story of Haliburton overchanging $67 million made the news everywhere but now thanks to this "Saddam Hussein is captured" story, all of this is totally forgotten. The Haliburton story is the most obvious example of this administration's corrupt mindset and yet NO one will make anything out of it now that Saddam is captured.

The Bush Crime Family keeps coming up with these diversions whenever they're in trouble. Remember the Saving & Loans story? The Anitta Hill/Clarence Thomas "scandal" came out of nowhere and no one paid attention to the S&L debacle. Same thing here. This administration is corrupt in the extreme and these "rabbit out of the hat" stories only exist to manipulate the media and the gullible people in the US.

Very good point. They are pretty good at timing these things to provide the ultimate distraction, aren't they?
