1. Bush reminds me of Hitler more and more
everyday. With Saddam out of the way, the Cabal goes on untouched. And they could also very well be lying about this.

3. Military tribunal time.
Instead of handing him over to the world court. And a boogeyman until the elections. People will believe it even if he is a body double.

7. I meant it in a way that....
Whenever the reality of his policies sets in(consumer confidence is down despite so-called good news on the economy) he pulls another rabbit out of his hat. Saddam is just another rabbit.

4. Well...I am apparently the most uniformed person in the US
this morning. I didn't even know Saddam was caught until I read your post which I clicked on ONLY because it was you-

6. I was second to last, it's ok.
I guess that's what happens when you don't watch CNN.

8. You will never take second place in my book!
But, here is what has been going through my mind for the past hour while I was showering:

I am getting ready to go wait tables for the homeless...working with Republicans that will not get the irony of looking at homeless American families while they mentally masturbate over the capture of Saddam, and how lucky the Iraqis are to have us spend 87 billion to insure that they have adequate medical care, and homes.

I don't know whether to take xanax, or rolaids....or can you mix the two?

5. Well put

I was thinking the same thing. An old guy in a hole was caught, so that makes everything right. Bush will get a lift out of this from the mindless masses, no doubt. But reality will set back in as it must, as his policies are just too devastating to those same masses. I'm just wondering what the Bush Crime Family has in store for just before the elections. They no doubt have something guaranteed to artficially boost his numbers planned.

9. Hmmm yeah. And Osama is some sick guy with kidney problems
Why make this a Bush thing?

I'm hoping that we get Osama next. And I'm not going to be upset if it happens during Bush's administration. Even if it means he'll get a second term.

Happy...Smile...Joy! Smoke a bong hit. Go to Walmart or the hemp store.

Celebrate!

11. Sadaam Hussein != Osama bin Laden
Edited on Sun Dec-14-03 02:18 PM by Woodstock
!= means "not equals" for you non-programming types.

Sadaam was not involved in 9/11. He was not involved with Al Qaeda. And he apparently has not been active in directing the insurgence in Iraq (the country we never should have invaded.)

Osama bin Laden IS a real threat to us and much of the rest of the world, he had direct ties to 9/11, and his network of terrorism is alive and flourishing.

While it's good that Sadaam was caught, it doesn't mean "all is well" as the thread poster indicated. But that is how it will be spun for the masses. This is what concerns some of us.

And the biggest concern is that the Iraq invasion took our eyes (and resources) off the real terrorist threat. We should have finished what we began in Afghanistan - going after Al Qaeda. The Taliban is firmly established in Pakistan, with mass (and very fruitful) recruting efforts, and financed by Pakistan & Saudi Arabia.

We want to keep our eye on the real efforts that should be made against terrorism, not on Cheney and Baker and other fat cats raking in the dough in Iraq under the guise of actually doing something about it.

10. I agree
at least for now. But as soon as our "go team" euphoria wears off, people will once again start to notice that life in America has steadily gotten worse under the Bush administration. And people are still dying in the war every day.

</sarc>???

I'm simply pointing out what the repukes, and others, are trying to get away with.

I suppose you can all go to Walmart now and buy some cheap shit and help drive down wages and benefits here.

Saddam is gone! Long live the cheap labor conservatives!

Good day:-)
