Maybe it's not over.

My apologies for my earlier post. Momentary lapse in reason and resolve. I'm glad they got Saddam. I think we all are. After reading some of the responses you people have written, I do see that it is possible to still win. The problem I have with the pattern of Bush's approval ratings is that they drop like a stone, then miraculously something happens and the go back up before they start falling again. I just hope we can make people see the truth, including the possible truth that we could have had him contained through more peaceful methods and it would have taken a lot less than 8 months.

Remember that "Dean was washed up because he didn't support the invasion?"

We all need to take a deep breath and imagine the headlines for the next few months. The insurgency is not ended. The "reasons" for the invasion still do not exist.

The astronomical costs and war profiteering are still going on.

then, that implies that the key to GE 2004 *IS* the swing voters. There are a lot of people, apparetnly, who are lloking for a reason to vote Bush and just keep becoming disheartened.

So, which candidate can attract them? I think I know, but he is not my favorite.

Those nine Dem candidates are some pretty smart people and they've got smart people working for them. They'll figure out how to handle BushCo's spin on this.

As for Saddam, I agree that we could have taken a better course in handling him. I don't know if we're going to be able to convince the American people of that, but I sure hope so.

The Bushies know exactly what they're doing (propoganda-wise, that is). They've been carefully manipulating the timing of certain events and have been since before they stole the White House. I don't like it. It's evil and makes me extremely angry. I used to lose heart, but now I just channel it into anger and resolve in getting these effing bastards out of the White House.

He does tricks then shows how they are pulled off. We need to be like him. Keep exposing the manipulation and propaganda.

Chicken Hawk Dick and his paymasters were taking too much heat this past week and the inedibel turkey photo shoot was seen for what it was. Time to get the lovely assistant to strut around and divert attention while they frantically check that hat for more bunnies to produce.

Now the Iraqis can start asking us when we are leaving. Should be even more interesting in the coming weeks. No WMDs, Saddam nuetered, so why are we there... and where's Osama?

the October surprise? I can't see that much has changed with Sadaam's capture. Unless now the troops will be coming home. But will they be home for long before he wants to take out Syria or Iran?
