I have a question to ask you.

Is there anybody in your state that could go up against Joe Lieberman the next time he runs for his senate seat?

I think he is an embarassment to your state apart from an embarassment to the Democratic Party. I want to make a solemn promise.
If somebody in the Democratic Party there would PLEASE run against Lieberman in 2006, I will gladly contribute $100.00 to the campaign. I know it isn't much and though I am not a "Nutmegger", but I think it's crucial that Lieberman gets out of the American political picture. I just want this clown out of the Senate and preferrably out of the Democratic Party! The candidate must be progressive and have a fiery passion in his or her politics. A Wellstone-type Democrat!

The bottom line is this. Joe must go! I swear to you! I will keep my promise to you all in Ct. and DU. That somebody has to give Joe the boot! Any takers?

John

3. Maybe our Attorney General
Very smart. Went to law school with the Clintons. Only problem is that he doesn't seem all that politically ambitious.

4. Is he a liberal?
I go to see his biography in his website. Impressive but would he be willing to go one on one with Joe?

You arent going to get an extremely progressive democrat. There is too much money here. As long as lieberman retains political power, I dont see any hope of any democrats taking him out.

Edit: Also, I think you are overly demonizing Joe. The man isnt terribly bright or good for the party as a leader, but its a big party. There are lots of democrats in congress like him, they may not be progressive, but they still hold a seat and vote for us. Lets not have internal witch hunts. Dont vote for him in the primary, there is no need to try and purge him from the party.
