I hate ABC news

So, I'm flipping channels during a break in the Cowboy game and hit ABC news talking about the whole Saddam thing. Surprisingly enough they actually mentioned that there were not large demonstrations in the streets of Baghdad. But then they had to go into full media-whore mode. They're not out celebrating because they're just afraid of the the Saddam loyalists or it hasn't really sunk in yet. :eyes: Jesus h christ can't they just report the news without making up reasons for why things didn't happen exaclty the way they expected them to.

My real confusion however is how they know the gunfire in Baghdad today that killed 4 and wounded 60+ was "celebratory gunfire". It's almost as confusing as the "non-hostile" gunfire.

Now they're talking about his Trial, and how a Trial in Iraq will not play well in the Arab World.

just too bad for the rest of the Arab world. Unfortunately the rest of the 'Arab world' still has a surfeit of ruthless dictators.

This whole episode is so hilarious when you look at it
from an outsider's point of view. We've spent $200 Billion

are state-run if not state-owned. It's 'rah-rah' rather
than, "gee, when is the Bush administration going to
turn Saddam over to The Hague for trial, a la Milosevic?"

Or, "gee, what kind of secrets does Saddam have about
Reagan/Bush41 foreign policy?" How about "what were you
and Rumsfeld talking about in that picture, Saddam?"

I've been saying this so long it's ridiculous. ABC is the worst of the major networks.

Their interference in the Dem primary is unprecedented and we should have nothing to do with them.

It's why Limbaugh wanted in the club. Sad, ain't it?
